This season on Profmed’s Savvy with Samke, host Samke Mhlongo sits down with remarkable South Africans to explore powerful, thought-provoking topics, from reclaiming identity in motherhood and overcoming the unimaginable battle with cancer, to a CEO’s honest take on burnout.

 

South Africa (20 March 2025) – Samke Mhlongo is back for season 2 of Savvy with Samke, an engaging talk show powered by Profmed, to share real talk about the topics most important to South African professionals. This season will have eight inspiring episodes covering a wide range of topics. The second season earned its green light after seeing a massive success with season 1.

The debut season captivated South African professionals, earning unprecedented engagement and amassing over 25,000 hours of streaming, which is the equivalent of three years of continuous viewing. Profmed’s YouTube platform, where the show is hosted, had great success and growth, increasing its subscriber base by 66%.

Season 1 sparked conversations around financial literacy, professional growth, and holistic wellness, and this next season builds on that with conversations surrounding motherhood and identity, surviving cancer, the journey of turning 40, and fighting for education to change lives, and that is just the first four episodes!

At the table alongside Samke Mhlongo, who is an award-winning wealth coach and best-selling author, is co-host Charmaine ‘Miss Chaz’ Dube, who is a dynamic conversationalist and seasoned tech professional. The dynamic duo have a fabulous rapport and are joined by guests such as Mrs South Africa Jo Judnick-Wilson; Chef Nthabiseng Ramaboa AKA Chef Nti; entertainer and media personality Lethabo “LeJoy” Mathathol; and Veteran Sportscaster Leigh-Ann Paulick. With guests this good, and engaging topics, the show is set to be an exciting one!
